PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste charging apparatus capable of restricting an eccentric accumulation of waste in a waste melting furnace.SOLUTION: A waste charging apparatus 2 comprises: an intermediate hopper 5 arranged above a waste melting furnace 1; an upper seal valve 11 for opening or closing an upper opening 5a of the intermediate hopper 5; a first rotary shaft 12A, a second rotary shaft 12B arranged around a lower opening 5b so as to hold the lower opening 5b of the intermediate hopper 5 and to hold a center axis CL1 of a side wall 1a of the waste melting furnace 1 and extending in a horizontal direction so as to be in parallel to each other; a lower seal valve 14 extending out of the first rotary shaft 12A toward the second rotary shaft 12B so as to block all the areas of the lower opening 5b, rotated downward around the first rotary shaft 12A to release the lower opening 5b; and a guide plate 15 extending downward from the second rotary shaft 12B to rotate around the second rotary shaft 12B so as to adjust a dropping direction of the waste. |
