PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a line controller capable of preventing data transmission to an erroneous transmission destination.SOLUTION: A distributed configuration multi-functional peripheral device comprises a MFP, a slave apparatus, and a BOX. The BOX transmits lock start notification for making the MFP execute control of creating no transmission data in a call period of the slave apparatus, to the MFP; transmits lock end notification for making the MFP execute control of creating transmission data outside the call period of the slave apparatus, to the MFP; receives the transmission data created by the MFP from the MFP, and transmits the received transmission data to a data transmission destination; makes the MFP execute control of creating transmission data, subject to acceptance of a FAX transmission instruction from the slave apparatus in the call period of the slave apparatus; and transmits the transmission data whose creation is started in the call period to a voice call destination of a voice call in the slave apparatus regarded as the data transmission destination of the transmission data. |
