PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control station unit and a control method for performing press-fitting with high accuracy by a servo press. SOLUTION: A press-fitting arrow 20 for pressing a press-fitting member against a shank holder 17 fitted to a lower end of a ram 13 and a receiving base 21 for fixing a work below the press-fitting arrow 20 are provided, a pressure sensor 22 for detecting the press-fitting force is provided between the ram 13 and the shank holder 17, and a linear gauge 24 for measuring the actual descent and stop position of the ram 13 is provided. A control unit 19 having a memory for storing the input ram descent distance data and the operation formula data for calculating the deflection of the press against the pressure, and a central processing unit for operating the deflection of the press from the data stored in the memory, and the detected value of a motor detector and a pressure sensor 22, correcting the ram descent distance, and outputting the correction command value to a servo motor 6 is provided.
