<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductor allowing an insulating coating to be removed by a low-power laser beam. <P>SOLUTION: This conductor D includes a conductor body 201 formed of copper being a conductive metal, and the insulating coating 202 covering the conductor body 201. The insulating coating 202 is formed of a material (high-heat-resistance material) high in heat resistance as compared with a urethane-based material or the like, for instance, a polyimide-based, polyamideimide-based or polyesterimide-based material.
