<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card issuing apparatus that can read/write from/to a stripe part of a card from end to end. <P>SOLUTION: A printer apparatus 1 includes a card supply part 10 for supplying a card C with a magnetic stripe part formed for storing information, and a card feed path P1 for feeding the card C supplied from the card supply part 10 in a feed direction aligned with the direction of formation of the magnetic stripe part. The card feed path P1 has thereon a printing part 50 for printing characters or images on the card C, and a magnetic encoder unit 80, having a magnetic head 81 movable along the magnetic stripe part for writing information to or reading written information from the magnetic stripe part of the card C, with temporarily stopped as both ends of the card C are held by nip rollers 45 and feed rollers 46. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
