<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel battery cell arranged so that an interconnector layer can be prevented from exfoliating from a solid electrolyte layer. <P>SOLUTION: The solid oxide fuel battery cell comprises: a solid electrolyte layer 4 made of a ZrO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>-based dense sintered compact; an interconnector layer 8 made of a dense sintered compact containing a rare earth element; an intermediate layer 9 through which two opposing ends of the solid electrolyte layer 4 are joined with two opposing ends of the interconnector layer 8; a fuel gas passage formed inside the cell for a fuel gas to pass therethrough; an air electrode layer 6 formed on the outside of the solid electrolyte layer 4; and a fuel electrode layer 3 formed on the inside thereof. The intermediate layer 9 is made of a CeO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>-based sintered compact containing a rare earth element other than Ce. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
