PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load of a user in operation of a core monitoring device. SOLUTION: This core monitoring device 10 connected to a process computer 1 for collecting information showing the reactor core state through an information bus 2, for monitoring the core state, includes a heat balance data input part 3 for receiving heat balance data from the process computer 1 through the information bus 2; a core performance calculation part 4 connected to the heat balance data input part 3, for performing core performance calculation; an input/output processing part 5 connected to the core performance calculation part 4; a display means 7 connected to the input/output processing part 5, for displaying information; an input means 6 connected to the input/output processing part, for inputting an input parameter for the core performance calculation; and an input parameter storage part 9 for storing the input parameter.
