PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a model conversion rule wherein a large burden is impressed on a designer when a model has complicated relation because the designer manually defining an architecture of a system to be developed. SOLUTION: This model conversion rule generation method has: a call method/call class list information generation part 106 setting a source code group 112 of an existing information system as input information, and generating information for holding the relation present between classes of the UML (Unified Modeling Language) model; and a comment-equipped source code group generation part 108 allowing the holding of the relation even when a part of the source code group is set as a target of the model conversion rule: and a model conversion rule generation part 110 generating/outputting the model conversion rule allowing the holding of the relation.
