PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image blur correction unit with a correction range in accordance with circumstances where shake is caused in a pitch direction and a yaw direction, an image blur correction device with the image blur correction unit, a photographing device with the image blur correction device and a portable apparatus with the photographing device. SOLUTION: In a case where a shutter is positioned in the center and the image blur correction unit 200 can be assembled obliquely upward on the right side of the shutter like a portable phone, the length in the pitch direction of the image blur correction unit is made short by determining that the shake in the pitch direction is large, whereby the correction angle of the shake in the pitch direction is made larger.
