PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery excellent in safety, in which internal short circuit of the battery caused by shrinkage of a separator upon exposure to a high temperature is prevented, and no exothermic heat is generated even when the battery is exposed to the high temperature. SOLUTION: Generation of exothermal heat caused by internal short circuit of the battery by providing a structure that a separator in the vicinity of a lead part is melt bonded, or a structure that a separator is melt-bonded by itself in a particular temperature range in which generation of exothermal heat by internal short circuit is prevented, thereby wrapping a plate so as to cause shrinkage the separator. |
