PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance detection sensitivity while avoiding degradation of frequency characteristics.SOLUTION: A current detection device comprises: a Rogowski coil 2 formed into a toroid as a whole, comprising a winding core 11 and electrical wires 21a-21c wound therearound; and a signal processing unit 3 configured to output a detection voltage Vi having an amplitude corresponding to an amplitude of current I flowing through a detection target 61 that passes through the inside of the Rogowski coil 2 based on induced voltages Va-Vc appearing between two ends of the Rogowski coil 2. The three electrical wires 21a-21c of the Rogowski coil 2 are lap-wound to form a single layer structure, and ends of the three electrical wires 21a-21c on one side are connected together to a return wire 13 to be held at a same electrical potential. The signal processing unit 3 adds the induced voltages Va-Vc on ends of the electrical wires 21a-21c on the other side using the electrical potential of the ends on the one side as a reference to output the detection voltage Vi.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
