PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device and a cabinet capable of preventing unlocking due to mischief or the like, and reducing costs by reducing the number of components or assembly man-hours.SOLUTION: A conversion mechanism for converting the linear movement of a slide member 51 into the rotary movement of a locking member 22 comprises: a protrusion disposed in one of the slide member 51 and the locking member 22, the protrusion protruding along a rotary shaft 23; and a guide section disposed in the other of the slide member and the locking member, the guide section allowing the immersion of the protrusion while allowing its relative movement to the protrusion. The guide section includes a displacement regulation section that extends from an initial position where the protrusion is disposed when the locking member is at a locking position toward the locking position side in the slide direction of the slide member. |
