<p>The adapter piece (3, 4) is inserted with its upper end (3) into the lower end of the femoral bone and prepared in order to facilitate a joining with newly growing tissue and bone substance. The lower end (4) is movable joined to an artificial knee joint (2) connected to a prosthesis of the lower leg. The adapter (3, 4) is divided into a wider lower (4) and a narrow upper cylindrical section (3) positioned in an acute angle in relation to the vertical axis (H2) of the knee joint (2).</p> |
