<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable turbocharger surely rotating a nozzle vane by external operation. <P>SOLUTION: The variable turbocharger 1 is provided with a pair of exhaust gas introducing walls 16 provided to face each other on a nozzle part 13 in an outside of an exhaust gas turbine wheel 12, a plurality of nozzle vanes 31 rotatably supported between the exhaust gas introducing walls 16 and arranged along a circumference direction of the exhaust turbine wheel 12 with predetermined intervals, a lever 20 attached on a part projecting from an exhaust gas introducing wall 16 of a rotary shaft 32 of each nozzle vane 31, a connecting ring 18 connected to the lever 20 and making levers interlock, a rotary drive shaft pivotally supported by a bearing housing 64 and driven from an outside, and a joint 23 connecting the rotary drive shaft 33 and at least one rotary shaft 32 of rotary shafts of a plurality of the nozzle vanes 31 and permitting eccentricity of the rotary shaft 32 and the rotary drive shaft 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
