<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of oil-contaminated water to the outside of a land boundary by separating oil from oil-contaminated water, without causing rise of groundwater level within the land boundary. <P>SOLUTION: The oil-contaminated water diffusion preventive device prevents leakage of oil-contaminated water to the outside of the land boundary having oil-contaminated soil and groundwater artery in which groundwater flows. The device has a ditch 12 provided to reach the groundwater level from the ground surface of the oil-contaminated soil and consisting of a water-permeable partition plate, and a baffle plate 14 provided in the ditch 12, cutting off the flow of the groundwater and not reaching the bottom face 18 of the ditch 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
