<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage of an ignition plug, in an engine for carrying out the stratification combustion. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid system 2 with the engine 1 includes a first fuel injection valve 16 for injecting fuel, an ignition plug 17 for igniting the fuel in a combustion chamber 11, and an ECU 25, in the combustion chamber 11 divided by a cylinder head 13 having an improved thermal insulation performance.
