<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unnecessary light from entering by a shielding member without fail. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This lens-barrel is provided with a lens-barrel body 10; a diaphragm 51 held in the lens-barrel body 10 so as to be turnable; a diaphragm operation member 52 for controlling a diameter of the diaphragm 51; and a shielding plate 60 having an operation arm 75 formed in the lens-barrel body 10 so as to be turnable and fitted into the diaphragm operation member 52 to control the diameter of the diaphragm 51 through the diaphragm operation member 52 by turning operation, and an engaging part 63 for making an insertion part 62 in which the operation arm 75 is inserted engaged with an engaging piece 57 provided protrusively on the diaphragm operation member 52, and being supported together with the diaphragm operation member 52 so as to be turnable to shield unnecessary light entering the lens-barrel body 10.
