PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article support device capable of supporting an article stably.SOLUTION: An article support device 1 comprises: bracket members 12, 12 fixed to a lateral crosspiece member 9 which constitutes self-standing furniture 2 on a floor surface, extends in a lateral direction, and has a square shape in a cross sectional view; and an article placement member 11 supported on the bracket members 12, 12. The bracket members 12, 12 comprise: engaging parts 17, 17 having a shape fitted over the lateral crosspiece member 9 from an upper side; and support parts 12a which extend in a cross direction of the lateral crosspiece member 9 at the upper positions of the engaging parts 17, 17 fitted over the lateral crosspiece member 9, and on which the article placement member 11 is supported.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
