PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video reception device that can display a channel tuning program for displaying reduced pictures of plural first broadcast programs, and display pictures of a first broadcast program when the first broadcast program is selected.SOLUTION: A video reception device has a broadcast wave receiver 23 for receiving a video content containing plural first broadcast programs and a channel tuning program for displaying reduced pictures of the plural first broadcast programs, and a controller 21 for executing cursor picture combining processing of combining the picture of the channel tuning program with a cursor picture indicating one of the pictures of the plural first broadcast programs contained in the channel tuning program in a channel tuning mode for displaying the channel tuning program, and outputting the composite picture to an external video display device, and mode switching processing of switching the mode to a normal mode in which upon acceptance of a viewing request of a first broadcast program in the channel tuning mode, the first broadcast program indicated by the cursor is specified, and the picture of the specified first broadcast program is output to TV 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
