PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effect addition device enabling meticulous performance expression by achieving picking operation of a string with hands and using addition of a sustain effect.SOLUTION: An effect addition device 1 is configured to include a picking detection circuit 40 for detecting whether picking operation of a string is performed, based on a musical sound signal picked up by a pickup 5 of an electronic guitar, and for outputting a picking detection signal for indicating the detection result, a coefficient control circuit 50 for outputting a coefficient control signal corresponding to the picking detection signal, and a delay circuit 30 that has a delay unit for delaying a musical sound signal and a multiplier for changing a coefficient value in accordance with a coefficient control signal, and allows the output of the delay unit to be fed back via the multiplier.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
