PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct conversion-type X-ray detector comprising a conversion layer for converting an X-ray to an electron cloud which detector can reliably perform imaging of a minute X-ray by preventing the blur of an image caused by a plurality of detection elements detecting one electron cloud.SOLUTION: An X-ray detector of the present invention is provided with a buffer region not reflected on an X-ray image at a position sandwiched between pixel corresponding elements 4p on a detection surface 4s. According to the configuration of the present invention, a detection element (reference element 4r) to detect an electron cloud is also placed in the buffer region. If an electron cloud is input into the reference element 4r side on the detection surface 4s, it is determined that the electron cloud is input into the buffer region between the pixel corresponding elements 4p, and it is not treated as detection of an electron cloud.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
