PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fine powder for a cement admixture, regarding mineral based fine powder blended for the purpose of increasing the strength and formability of cement, more concretely, which is suitably used even in a condition where a water-cement ratio is low, and increases fluidity and the strength of a cured body. SOLUTION: The fine powder for a cement admixture is composed of silica based fine powder, and in which the specific surface area according to a BET (Brunauer-Emett-Teller) process is 5 to 20 m<SP>2</SP>/g, and the weight average particle diameter based on a particle distribution is≤2μm.
