PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual insertion paper feeding tray of a structure capable of preventing the generation of impact noise and the breakage of a support part when turning the manual insertion paper feeding tray from a housed position to an exposed position by applying the elastic force of a buffer member to a connecting member for moving a guide member when turning the manual insertion paper feeding tray. SOLUTION: A coil spring 212 is provided in a main body 200. One end 212A of the coil spring 212 is locked to a lock part 224 provided on the bottom surface of the main body 200, and the other end 212B thereof is locked to a pin 214. The pin 214 is projected from the second end 204 of the connecting member 204, and pivotally supported by a transmission mechanism 220 through a long hole 214 formed at the bottom surface of the main body 200. The elastic force of the coil springs 212 and 213 is applied to the second end 204B of the connecting member 204 in a direction opposite to the moving direction of the manual insertion paper feeding tray 11 when moving to the exposed position.
