PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism to determine a position to arrange a virtual object by using position information on a user and position information representing the position, attitude, and shape of a real object.SOLUTION: There is provided an information processing apparatus that stores position information representing the position and shape of a real object in an MR space that is a space where a real space and a virtual space are combined. The information processing apparatus acquires position information representing the position of a user in the MR space, and determines an arrangement position of the virtual object to be presented to the user by using the position information on the real object in the MR space and position information on the user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
