PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer-rotor type electric motor having a stator arranged on the inner peripheral side of a rotor and made more compact in a motor axial direction, along which a rotor, a stator and a cooling fan are conventionally arranged.SOLUTION: A rotor base 60 for supporting a rotor 53 on a motor shaft 54 is equipped with a plurality of blades 60a, so that the rotor base 60 is given a function as a cooling fan 62 for cooling an electric motor. As a result, the electric motor 50 can be made compact in a motor axis J direction by the extent of the cooling fan of the prior art.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
