Provided is a coated film which is capable of reducing liquid crystal deterioration and film discoloration caused by ultraviolet irradiation during a production step of a liquid crystal display in cases where the coated film is used as a protection film that is used in an optical member production step, and which is free from bleeding of an ultraviolet absorbent from a polyester film, while exhibiting good adhesion to a function layer. A coated film for optical member protection, which is obtained by providing one surface of a multilayer polyester film with a coating layer, said multilayer polyester film being obtained by laminating at least three polyester layers by co-extrusion. The thicknesses of both outermost polyester layers are 3.5 μm or more, respectively; and one of inner polyester layer(s) contains an ultraviolet absorbent. The coated film has a light transmittance of 10.0% or less at a wavelength of 380 nm, while having a color change value ∆E*ab before and after UV irradiation of 3.2 or less. |
