<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material mist recovering apparatus capable of decreasing the required quantity of a cleaning liquid. <P>SOLUTION: Air 46 flowing downward as shown in Fig.(a), expressing the flow of the air, becomes a swirling flow 47 by a guide vane 44. Because the flow is dammed in a diameter reduction part 43, the retention time of the swirling flow 47 is prolonged. The liquid 25, as shown in Fig.(b), expressing the flow of the liquid, flows down along the inner surface of the coating material mist recovery apparatus 40 while being swirled by the guide vane 44. Fig.(c) is a figure obtained by joining Fig.(a) and Fig.(b) to each other and because of the swirling flow of the air 46, the contact time of the air 46 with the liquid 25 is remarkably prolonged, so that the coating material mist can be effectively absorbed into the liquid 25. In this method, the coating material mist is absorbed well only with the small quantity of the liquid and the required quantity of the cleaning liquid is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
