PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a matrix structure capable of effectively protecting the components of the matrix structure from electrostatic destruction, and electronic equipment. SOLUTION: This electrooptical apparatus comprises: a structure wherein a plurality of gate lines 4a, 4b and 4c arranged in an X axis direction and a plurality of data lines 3a, 3b and 3c arranged in a Y axis direction cross in a grid shape; a TFT 2 arranged at the crossing part; a liquid crystal pixel 1 driven by signals flowing through the TFT 2; a common electrode line 5 turned to a reference potential; and a capacitor C arranged in at least one of a part between the gate lines 4a, 4b and 4c and the common electrode line 5 and a part between the data lines 3a, 3b and 3c and the common electrode line 5.
