PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compound that has an inhibitory activity on VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) and is a therapeutic agent for various VEGF-associated diseases including diabetic nephropathy, to provide a method for producing the same and to obtain a pharmaceutical composition using the same. SOLUTION: The indolequinoxaline compound is represented by general formula (I) or its pharmacologically acceptable salt. The method for producing the same is provided.
