PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification method of suspension water capable of purifying suspension water in a short time by adding small kinds of materials to form large aggregates from low viscous, hardly settleable particulates in the suspension water, so as to settle the aggregates in a short time. SOLUTION: The purification method of suspension water comprises an aggregation process including steps of: uniformly dispersing, in suspension water containing hardly settleable particulates, viscous polymer material aggregated by polyvalent metal ions and having easily dispersibility relative to water to obtain a mixed liquid; charging polyvalent metal salt powder or its semi-saturated aqueous solution into this mixed liquid; and rapidly stirring and mixing the liquid to form aggregates containing the hardly settleable particulates.
