The embodiment of the invention relates to a lift capable of reducing an electric-power supply quantity of a single-phase power supply and mitigating burden of the single-phase power supply. The lift has a winding machine (100) that raises/lowers the lift car in hoistway under the motive power of electric motor (101). A power supply (10) supplies electric power to the electric motor. A battery (41) electrically stores the electrical energy via the inverter during regeneration operation of winding machine (100). The single-phase power supply (20) supplies the electric power to electric equipment (110). A converter (21) supplies the electric power received from the single-phase power supply (20) and battery to electric equipment (110). |
