<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To track an image with a light load. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device calculates an evaluation value, which is expressed as the sum of confidence degrees obtained by compounding, at variable compound ratios, a matching degree of a first feature quantity and a matching degree of a second feature quantity between a target image including an object to be tracked and a comparison image which is an image of a comparison area to be compared with the target image of a predetermined frame, to obtain compound ratios which make the maximum evaluation value.
