摘要 PURPOSE: A communication method between a servo DSP and a microcomputer in an optical recording/reproducing device is provided to monitor connected external ports, so that a microcomputer can directly confirm whether a command process is terminated from a servo DSP, thereby increasing operation reliability. CONSTITUTION: An operational command is transmitted through a CMD port for communication between a servo DSP chip(100) and a microcomputer(101) in a normal mode(S200). A command process complete signal is transmitted through a sense port(S201). A command for requesting a command process result code value is transmitted through the CMD port(S202). A command process complete signal is transmitted through the sense port(S203). A command process result code value is sent through the CMD port(S204). If the command process result code value is abnormal, a current operation command is retransmitted through the CMD port(S205). If the command process result code value is still abnormal, a successive command is transmitted(S206).
