The purpose of the present invention is to suppress influence on a thickness of a plate on an exit side of a rolled material in a case where a change in tension of an output side of the rolled material is controlled by a tension reel speed of an entrance side and the exit side. A roller rolling the rolled material to be a pair of rolls includes a means of converting an operation end to control the tension of the rolled material and an operation end to control a thickness of the plate of the rolled material, which has been rolled, depending on a rolled state. Moreover, the roller controls a returning speed of the rolled material inserted into the roller to be rolled by the roller based on the thickness of the plate of the rolled material, which has been rolled; controls the returning speed of the rolled material discharged from the roller based on the tension of the rolled material discharged from the roller; generates and outputs the non-interference control amount to control the returning speed of the rolled material to be inserted into the roller when the returning speed of the rolled material discharged from the roller is controlled; and restricts a control value for controlling based on the changes in the tension of the rolled material to be smaller while performing conversion. |
