The present invention relates to a method for providing streaming data, and more particularly to a method for providing streaming data via a base station interworking node, which, by using a base station interworking node capable of being connected to at least one base station, can replace a part of MPEG Media Transport (MMT) streaming data, transmitted to a terminal, with a preset event unit and then provide the partially replaced data to the terminal, and also relates to a base station interworking node therefor. A base station interworking node connected to at least one base station according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a monitoring module which monitors MMT streaming data transferred from a live streaming provision server to a terminal; an event detection module which detects generation of preset event information from the streaming data monitored via the monitoring module; and a media processing module which, when the preset event information is determined to be generated in the streaming data via the event detection module, replaces a media processing unit (MPU) of the streaming data, transferred from the live streaming provision server to the terminal, with a preset event unit, and then controls the partially replaced data to be transmitted to the terminal. |
