PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading device that performs high-level color reproduction on a document including a color material generating invisible light without the need to provide an infrared cut filter on a light path between the document and a sensor.SOLUTION: An image reading device comprises light emission control means 140 that controls lighting of three colors of LEDs 104R, 104G, and 104B illuminating a document, and a plurality of sensors 102R, 102G, 102B that receive light reflected on the document with different spectral sensitivity characteristics. The image reading device includes analysis means 150 that specifies invisible light generating pixels from a difference in red image data between first image data obtained by lighting only the green LED 104G and second image data obtained by lighting all the colors of LEDs, and data correction means 160 that corrects R color image data of the invisible light generating pixels specified from the difference data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
