A device such as a mobile phone where circuitry is provided to give communication and computing capability, a battery provides power to the circuitry and power is received through a Universal Serial Bus (USB) port to charge the battery of the device. An external device can receive power via the USB port from the battery of the device to charge the external device. Therefore power source device supplies power to a host for charging a finite power source of the host which in turn can be used to charge an external source, for example a mobile phone connected to a laptop can either be charged by the laptop or can charge the laptop. The power is supplied through an interface connecting the host device. The interface may be a Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable or another type of local connection cable. |
