PURPOSE: An incoming tone generating telephone enables a user to freely generate, record, output and delete an incoming tone so as to reduce noise pollution. CONSTITUTION: All dial buttons(1-12) of a telephone are set to the musical scale tone buttons(1`-12`) so that the dial buttons(1-12) perform a function of a keyboard of musical instruments. The sound generated by the dial buttons(1-12) is recorded and stored in a digital memory chip by pressing a record button(14). When an incoming call signal is received, the memory chip rings the sound repeatedly through a speaker of the telephone. Furthermore, the musical scale tone buttons(1`-12`) can be substituted with a digital tone recognizer. By this, if a music or humming is inputted through a transmitter of the telephone, the music scale rhythm is converted to an electronic sound and rings as an incoming tone. Thereby, every user can create a one's favorite music or sound as an incoming tone of the telephone so that noise pollution due to the incoming tone is decreased and the user can perceive one's own incoming tone quickly in a public place.
