A process for crystallizing N<2>-((S)-1-ethoxycarbonyl-3-phenylpropyl)-N<6>-trifluoroacetyl-L-lysy l-L-proline using one or a mixture of at least two kinds of compound having the general formula: CR<1>R<2>R<3>R<4> as a crystallizing solvent, optionally with an auxiliary solvent which controls crystallization condition.
