<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive circuit for voltage-driven semiconductor elements, which prevents false-arcing problems using an only positive voltage power supply without increasing conduction power loss, and an inverter device. <P>SOLUTION: The drive circuit which drives semiconductor elements has a first switch connected to the positive side of a direct current power supply, a second switch connected to another terminal of the first switch and to the negative side of the direct current power supply, a third switch connected to the positive side of the direct current power supply, a fourth switch connected to another terminal of the third switch, a fifth switch connected to another terminal of the fourth switch and to the negative side of the direct current power supply, and a capacitor connected to the other terminal of the first switch and the other terminal of the fourth switch. The gate of a semiconductor element is connected to the other terminal of the third switch, and the source of the semiconductor element is connected to the negative side of the direct current power supply. Thereby, a negative voltage can be applied to the gate of the semiconductor element using an only positive voltage power supply. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
