<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain access limitation according to a position at a state that a device terminal is connected to a host device. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU judges whether or not positional information is stored in a flash ROM for storing the positional information when the position is measured (a step S5). Since no piece of positional information is stored in the flash ROM for storing the positional information when a USB memory is shipped from a factory, in such a case that a user purchases the USB memory and first installs it in a personal computer, a judgment result in the step S5 becomes "No". In this case, the CPU reads the positional information stored in a RAM and writes it in the flash ROM for storing the positional information (a step S6).
