PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for sealing an organic EL element that has good adhesion with glass of a display device, can ensure long-term reliability, and suppresses the occurrence of failure; an organic electroluminescent element; and a display device.SOLUTION: Provided is a resin composition for sealing an organic electroluminescent element that includes at least a curable component and desiccant, and has characteristics as follows: after a hardening treatment at 100°C for three hours, when the resin composition for sealing an organic electroluminescent element is subjected to a moisture-absorbing treatment under conditions of a temperature of 85°C, a humidity of 85%, and for 24 hours, (1) the shear adhesive strength with glass is 1 MPa or more, and (2) an exothermic peak can be observed by DSC. Also provided are an organic electroluminescent element, and a display device. |
