[Problem] To provide a method for removing a magnetic clutch from a clutch cover. [Solution] A circular groove (8d) is formed in the outer periphery of a circular boss part (8a) of a clutch cover (8), and a circular groove (69) that faces the circular groove (8d) is formed in the inner periphery of a circular magnetic clutch (42) mounted at the outer periphery of the boss part (8a). A spring clip (90), parts (90a) of which protrude outward, is mounted in the circular groove (8d), and the parts (90a) of the spring clip engage the circular groove (69), which is on the outside, thereby restricting the movement of the magnetic clutch (42) in the axial direction. When the clutch cover (8) is removed from the engine housing (1a) and a flexible plate-type jig (100) is inserted into the slight gap (s) between the boss part (8a) of the cover (8) and the magnetic clutch (42), thereby pressing the outward-protruding parts (90a) of the spring clip into the circular groove (8d) and holding these parts in that state, and when the cover (8) is forcefully moved and then suddenly stopped so as to move the boss part (8a) downward, the magnetic clutch (42) slides and detaches from the boss part (8a) in the axial direction due to inertial force. |
