LIGHT SIGNAL STABILIZER AND STABILIZATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light signal stabilizer and a stabilization method that modulate an input light signal to a light signal having light-intensity stabilization improved by preventing intensity fluctuation.

SOLUTION: A light signal stabilizer 100 branches an input light pulse train through a light branch circuit 101 to a light receiver 102 and a delay line 103. The light receiver 102 performs photo-electric conversion for the input light pulse train to create an envelope signal. A driver 104 applies an offset equal to or less than a lower limit of light intensity of a pre-estimated input light pulse train to a signal obtained by subjecting the envelope signal outputted from the light receiver 102 to positive and negative inversion, to generate a control signal for turning off light by light intensity obtained by subtracting the offset from the light intensity of the light pulse train. A turn-off type light-intensity modulator 105 modulates the light intensity of the light pulse train inputted through the delay line 103 on the basis of the control signal generated by the driver 104, to output a light pulse train obtained by equalizing light intensity of a total light pulse to the offset.
