PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank capable of improving mounting workability while improving the mounting strength of a pump unit to a tank body.SOLUTION: The fuel tank includes a tank body 12 having a tank hole, a sub tank 14 provided on the bottom of the tank body 12, and a pump unit 16 to be inserted through the tank hole and mounted to the sub tank 14. The sub tank 14 is provided with an engagement recessed part 50 and a reception recessed part 54. A mount 30 of the pump unit 16 is provided with an engagement protruded part 57 to be laterally moved to one side of the pump unit 16 for engaging with the engagement recessed part 50 and an insertion hole 61 for matching to the reception recessed part 54. The engagement protruded part 57 engaging with the engagement recessed part 50 is restricted from being laterally moved to the other side of the pump unit 16 by a stopper member 68 inserted through the insertion hole 61 into the reception recessed part 54 while bridging over it.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
