<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine that can realize a low fuel consumption, low toxic gas, and comfortableness in high level. <P>SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine 1 includes a heat generating chamber 41 provided adjacent to a combustion chamber 12, a heat generating chamber valve 42 for shifting a state between the heat generating chamber 41 and the combustion chamber 12 to be in a communicating state or in a non-communicating state, and a heat collecting pipe 43 for collecting gaseous heat introduced into the combustion chamber 12 and using the collected heat for warming up. Moreover, a heat generating chamber ignition plug 45 is provided in the heat generating chamber 41, and a catalyst 46 is provided in between the heat generating chamber ignition plug 45 and the heat collecting pipe 43. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
