<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an identification medium which can be safely and easily authenticated while preventing fraud on authenticity, and to provide an identification method for the identification medium. <P>SOLUTION: An authenticity identification medium comprises at least an identification layer which contains a phosphor and is used to determine authenticity, a picture layer for displaying pictures and information, and a base material for forming the identification layer and the picture layer. The phosphor is configured so that the light emission intensity of fluorescence (visible region or near infrared region) when the phosphor is irradiated with visible light at a normal temperature and then irradiated with excitation light (visible region or near infrared region) is higher than the light emission intensity of the fluorescence when the phosphor is kept at a temperature higher than the normal temperature or kept at the temperature and immediately after irradiated with the excitation light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
