Herein described is a method and agricultural apparatus for introducing cultivating material into a subsoil layer. The agricultural apparatus comprises a hopper being arranged to hold a supply of cultivating material; conveying means for conveying the cultivating material from the hopper; and a distribution arrangement for receiving the cultivating material from the conveying means. The distribution arrangement comprises a distribution manifold being arranged to receive and distribute the cultivating material, a plurality of tines being arranged to form slots in the subsoil layer during use. A plurality of tubes depend from the manifold and have tube outlets being aligned behind the tines, being adapted to deposit the cultivating material into at least some of the slots. Fig. 4 Fig. 5 |
