PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion composition for a ceramide-containing cosmetic which can allow a cosmetic that is particularly an aqueous cosmetic to uniformly contain ceramide that has been difficult to be blended into cosmetic due to high crystallinity at ordinary temperature, is free from crystal deposition of ceramide, and has excellent stability over time, a method for producing thereof, and a cosmetic in which the emulsion composition for cosmetic is blended.SOLUTION: An emulsion composition for a ceramide-containing cosmetic of the present invention is a uniform oil-in-water emulsion composition that contains ceramides, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, glyceryl caprylate and water as essential components, in which an average HLB value of polyoxyethylene alkyl ether is 8 or more and less than 15, and contains ceramides at 0.01 mass% or more and less than 1 mass%, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether at 5 20 mass%, and glyceryl caprylate at 0.5 to 10 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
