PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method for selectively detecting and quantitatively determining OLB6378 from a test substance, such as feces, in which various kinds of bifidobacterium are supposed to exist.SOLUTION: To detect whether there is amplification of a nucleic acid composed of approximately 480 base sequences, the nucleic acid being specifically observed in the existence of OLB6378. The detection is performed by applying PCR, using a primer set composed of a nucleic acid composed of a specific base sequence and another nucleic acid composed of another specific base sequence, to a sample obtained from a pre-processed test substance, such as human feces, in which OLB6378 is supposed to exist. Also to measure the bacterium number of OLB6378 existing in the test substance by applying a quantitative PCR method. |
